Inside the dampener fields, seconds stretch, systems cycle slowly, and every delay gives security more time to adapt.
Chitterfield is not empty. It is alive with hidden infrastructure, flooded corridors, inverted jungles, and defensive systems that do not simply detect intruders. They hunt them. As Deira pushes deeper toward one of the station’s control centers, she realizes the real danger is not being caught, but running out of time before the station finishes responding. The longer she remains inside Chitterfield, the more lethal it becomes.
